PB Works - Doug's PBWorks Page - A wiki is a website that uses wiki software, allowing the easy creation and editing of any number of Web pages. Multiple authors may collaborate on the content of a wiki.

Coverit Live - Before CoveritLive, writers were struggling to create so-called ‘live blogs’ for sports, political events, television shows, conferences and earnings calls, but their existing software was holding them back. Chatrooms, forums and discussion boards often degenerated into a place for spammers and a small handful of people who felt the need to dominate the group. We love hearing our users say, “THIS is what I was looking for.”

Delicious - Doug's Delicious Account Delicious is a social bookmarking service that allows users to tag, save, manage and share web pages from a centralized source. With emphasis on the power of the community, Delicious greatly improves how people discover, remember and share on the Internet.

Wordle - Guess the Wordle - Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

Podcasting - ECO Schools Podcast - A podcast is a series of digital media files (either audio or video) that are released episodically and downloaded through web syndication. The mode of delivery is what differentiates podcasts from other ways of accessing media files over the Internet, such as simple download or streamed webcasts: special client software applications known as podcatchers (like iTunes, Zune, Juice, and Winamp) are used to automatically identify and download new files in the series when they are released by accessing a centrally-maintained web feed that lists all files associated with the series. New files can thus be downloaded automatically by the podcatcher and stored locally on the user's computer or other device for offline use, giving simpler access to episodic content.

And while the colors are randomly generated, they tend to come in complementary waves. Bomomo is a free to sign up for and use.

Tizmos - Doug's Tizmos Page - Like most people, we have a handful of sites we check every time we get on the internet. Checking these sites usually involved navigating to the sites manually or going through the browser's bookmarks/favorites menu. The problem with the latter approach is that you can't access these favorites on different computers unless you install some sort of plugin. With Tizmos, you can open your browser on any computer, go to Tizmos.com and see the sites you usually check and get to them easily.

Voki - Voki is a free service that allows you to create personalized speaking avatars and use them on your blog, profile, and in email messages.
