Diigo CATC Old

Diigo (DEE-go) is a Social bookmarking website which allows signed-up users to bookmark and tag web-pages. Additionally, it allows users to highlight any part of a webpage and attach sticky notes to specific highlights or to a whole page. These annotations can be kept private, shared with a group within Diigo or a special link forwarded to someone else. The name "Diigo" is an abbreviation for "Digest of Internet Information, Groups and Other stuff".

Diigo is similar in concept to Delicious in that it allows you to bookmark and share your web resources.  It extends the concept by letting you create and join groups of like people.  Internet email lets you share resources and requests with others.  Diigo also includes tools to let you markup and comment on websites before you bookmark them.

An added feature of Diigo is that is will cross post to Delicious.  This gives you a backup in case one service is unavailable.
